Rich and I had our belated third wedding anniversary celebration up at Paradise Inn on Mount Rainier.


At 14410 feet, Mt. Rainier lies near 14 major volcanic peaks that make up the "Ring of Fire"
Active steam vents and periodic earth tremors prove that Mt. Rainier is sleeping, but not dead
On March 2, 1899, President William McKinley authorized the creation of Mount Rainier National Park, making it the nation's fifth national park
